Dance Like a Diva


Sharyne Jewell is a choreographer, personal trainer and dance and fitness instructor with over 30 years dance experience. She owns and runs Dance Fitness Training (D.F.T.), Dance Like A Diva (D.L.A.D.) and ARTsharyne.

Sharyne has trained and choreographed complete beginners, who under her guidance, have gone on to perform in competitions and venues across Australia including Burlesque Idol, Miss Burlesque Australia, The Sydney Mardi Gras, Sydney's Victoria Room, Oxford Arts Festival, The Marilyn Monroe Festival, TAP Gallery as well as art openings and numerous private parties. 

Dance Like A Diva focuses on dance classes with a high emphasis on good dance technique and showmanship, performance opportunities and fun themed workshops designed to raise the self-esteem of women and teenage girls. 

D.L.A.D. also offers fun themed Showgirl, Marilyn Monroe and Burlesque hen’s nights, birthday parties, farewells and special events.

Dance Fitness Training specialises in fitness and personal training, generally with a focus on moving to music. Sharyne’s clients are both male and female and vary in age from 10 to 70+. 

Fitness classes - Zumba, Stretch & Core & Burly-fit, are currently available in Vaucluse and Hazelbrook.

Sharyne teaches dance at a number of Sydney secondary schools and at a leading ballet school and has choreographed various private and high school productions.

Sharyne choreographed the winning performances for Mr Boylesque NSW, 2013 and Mr Boylesque Australia, 2013.

She is the founder and director of the world's only Marilyn Monroe Festival first held in Sydney in 2013.

Sharyne is also an award winning artist whose paintings are in private collections in the UK, USA and Australia.
